Well, I still couldn't get my bike out due to Ice where I live, but Jerry was gracious enough to loan me his Harley Davidson, to go for a ride. MotorcycleBob and I went to Neosho and had a great lunch at Shoneys. But what was best was getting out on a bike.
Got a chance to see MotorcycleBob's new Honda Goldwing. It is a beautifull bike. It is a 1987 Aspencade and almost looks like a new bike. I won't give everything away, and will let him tell everyone about it.
Jerry just got this Harley about 2 months ago, and I think it is a 2005 full dresser. The thing I liked best about it was the seat and the cruise control. I would give my eye teeth for the cruise. It is a great bike, and I enjoyed riding it, but I truely like my Suzuki C109RT better. I like the longer wheelbase and the lower center of gravity.
I understand the weather will be better this weekend, and will definately want to take a ride somewhere. If anyone has any ideas, let me know. I do understand that MotorcycleBob has not seen the musuem in Miami, so that would be a great idea. If anyone is interested, we can pick a place to meet and go there or if there are any other ideas, post them.
Well good riding to everyone, Dave
